What is Reiki?
Reiki is a holistic energy-based practice that aims to support inner balance and overall well-being.
Originating in Japan, Reiki is typically facilitated through gentle hand placement and is based on the concept of life energy flowing through all living beings.
The Japanese word 'Rei' means 'universal', and 'Ki' stands for 'life energy' - similar to 'Prana' in Hinduism or 'Chi/Qi' in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Together, Rei-Ki can be translated as 'universal life energy.'
During a Reiki session, clients often experience a deep sense of relaxation. The energetic work invites the body and mind into a state of rest and balance, allowing inner processes to unfold gently and naturally.
Many people describe feeling more centered, calm, or emotionally balanced after a session.
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive method that can be used alongside other aspects of daily life.
